Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat specialises in peaceful & romantic getaways at Crystal Creek in the beautiful Tweed Valley, Northern NSW for a maximum of only 3 couples.
We have accommodation for two couples in a private guest wing of the main residence where we have two Bed & Breakfast Suites - one with luxury double spa bath - massage room and private guest lounge opening to a charming central atrium with fishpond, tropical plants and resident Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months. A further one couple (only) can be accommodated in our separate, fully self contained Honeymoon Cottage set away from the main residence in its own secluded rainforest garden with fully equipped kitchen, gas BBQ, top of the range luxury double spa bath, split system air-conditioning, real wood fire and some of the most spectacular views in the Tweed Valley.

guests tell us that at Hillcrest we offer exceptional value for money for the
level of luxury
accommodation we provide, if you are looking for a budget destination then we are probably
not for you. We are very small, exclusive and private. We can only
accommodate a maximum of three couples as we only have
one cottage, one spa
suite and one blue room and they have one
bed each. Our best
standby rates are published on our last minute page,
our standard rates apply for all other times and are published on our
tariff page. If you usually stay at larger resorts
with more beds to fill who practically give their rooms
away in order to maintain occupancy, or allow more than 2 people to a room, then at
Hillcrest you will find things a little different. It's this difference that our
guests enjoy and return to again and again ~ we hope that you will too

Hillcrest Bed & Breakfast & Self Contained Cottage is located in beautiful Crystal Creek via Murwillumbah, near the New South Wales/Queensland Border in the Tweed Valley, also known as the Tweed Coast hinterland region of Northern Rivers NSW.
A pefect spot for romance, Hillcrest is just 40
minutes drive from Gold Coast airport, 75 minutes from Brisbane and 45 minutes from Byron Bay but a world away in peace and ambience.
As our name suggests, we're perched atop a hill to take in the breath-taking views from Springbrook to Mount Warning as well as enjoy the cooling summer breezes. However we also have split system reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout, for those odd hot days when doing it the "natural way" is just not enough for true comfort.
The gazebo by the pool looks out across 2 lilly-filled dams to the rainforests of Springbrook National Park and the Border Range between NSW and QLD.
Main house guest rooms open to a large verandah which looks across the rolling green pastures of a 200 acre farm to Mt Warning - the eroded central "plug" of the world's largest extinct shield volcano and the spot where the dawn sun first touches the East Coast of Australia. Whilst our self contained Cottage is set in its own private and secluded garden with spectacular views in all directions.
Main house bed and breakfast guests have our full country style breakfast, including home-made bread (gluten free on request) and our own free-range eggs, included in their Cost.
If you choose to stay in our self contained cottage you can choose to either self-cater or have your fully equipped kitchen stocked with breakfast provisions for a small extra charge.
