Enjoy 3 Activities in One Day from October to April

1. Minjungbal Aboriginal Cultural Centre

An experienced tour guide will take you on a relaxed nature walk that will lead you to a sacred ceremonial site known as the BORA RING. Tribes would come together for the ritual tribal initiation of young aboriginal boys being initiated into manhood. The actual initiation ceremonies would take place in the small ring. Only the young boys being initiated and the elders who were actually going to be doing the ceremonies were allowed into the small ring. This area is still kept sacred today. You may spot a koala in the tranquil bush settings. Take a stroll in the museum and learn from the detailed exhibits about the history in which the Minjungbal Aboriginal people lived.

2. Snorkel Cook Island

Discovered by Captain Cook in 1770. Also known to the locals as Turtle Island a home to many of these marine creatures. Cook Island is a Marine Reserve full of activity. The island is not far from Fingal shore and is a popular diving spot for tourists because of its great variety in marine life. Some marine creatures you may encounter on your adventure are turtles, the harmless Leopard Shark, a variety of tropical fish including the protected Blue Grouper, Star Fish in their natural habit and so much more. For those who aren't so confident in the water we have floating devices for your support. Where the boat is anchored you will be surprised how protected the area feels for those who are adventurous yet cautious.

3. Lunch on the Tweed

Complimentary Lunch and free bottled water (1 per person). View Mount Warning - or Wollumbin (meaning Cloud Catcher) as it is known to the Aborigines - on the horizon. Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Tweed River abundant in bird and marine life. After lunch relax, soak up the sun rays or enjoy some beach activities where you should look out for the local dolphins.
