By paying a deposit you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Prices quoted in Australian $ inclusive of appropriate taxes and are subject to change without notice.

Reservation is not confirmed until receipt/clearance of deposit.

Domestic Bookings: 1 night at single night rate or 25% (whichever the greater) of total booking* required as non-refundable/non-transferable deposit. 

30 days notice of cancellation required or full rate will be charged unless room/s can be relet for entire period. Please Note: No Shows will be charged in full - including any ordered meals/extras.

Balance due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable/non-transferable to other dates unless room(s)/cottage can be relet for entire period.

Balance of booking transferred to other dates at Hillcrest discretion (and only if original dates can be relet in full) and is subject to $25 transfer fee. No date transfers will be accepted from 21 days prior to arrival.

Failure to pay by balance due date may result in room(s)/cottage being released and forfeit of deposit.

Overseas Bookings (outside Australia): due in full at time of reservation and are non-refundable/non-transferable unless room(s) can be relet for entire period. All refunds are subject to non-refundable portion described below.

Hillcrest is not insured for and will not accept check-in of children or pets under any circumstances ~ our usual cancellation terms will be applied so please take this condition seriously.

*Christmas and New Year bookings - balance of room charge to be paid by 1st November and is non-refundable and non-transferable unless room(s) can be relet for entire period. Bookings made after November 1st are due in full and are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a cancellation unless room(s) can be relet for entire period (subject to non-refundable portion described above).  No Shows will be charged in full including any ordered meals/extras.

Discounted rates and specials apply to Direct Bookings Only i.e. No commissions will be paid to any third party making bookings; and are not available for Peak Periods, Public Holidays or special events. If you have booked through a commissionable entity we cannot offer our special discounted rates, however return visits (if booked direct) will be at any available discounted rate.

All specials must be booked in advance and paid for in full at time of booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a cancellation unless the room(s) can be relet for entire period (subject to usual non-refundable portion as noted above).

Baths may be limited or unavailable during drought if Council or State regulations require.

There Are NO Self Catering Facilities in the Main House B&B. Main House BBQ is for BBQ Packs Purchased at Hillcrest Only.

Please note: A full room/cottage inventory is taken between guests and any damage to or theft of Hillcrest property will be charged to your account at full replacement cost on discovery. This includes use of candles, laundry, food preparation in B&B rooms etc. Please note that lampshades come in pairs, if you damage one you will have to replace both - and we buy good quality lampshades which are expensive.

Excess cleaning charge will be applied to Cottage if deemed necessary. All breakages, theft and/or damage will be charged at full replacement cost + travel time/petrol.

All alcohol consumed on premises is done so at own risk. Hillcrest does not take any responsibility whatsoever for injury or accident caused by or to Hillcrest guests either on or off the premises under any circumstances whatsoever.

Hillcrest is a “no smoking indoors” property. Guests smoking indoors will be asked to leave immediately with no refund unless room(s)/cottage can be relet for entire period + an extra cleaning charge will be applied for laundering curtains, rugs, covers etc.

Outside visitors only permitted with hosts permission. Due to insurance constraints outside visitors may not use Hillcrest pool or facilities.
